The GE Voluson P8 is an ultrasound system for women’s healthcare applications. The Voluson P8 offers exceptional 2D imagery in addition to volumetric tools and innovative technologies to produce lifelike 3D and 4D live images. The P Series Ultrasound systems from GE provide basic imaging modes plus technologies such as; Coded Harmonic imaging, Pulse Inversion, Speckle Reduction Imaging, and CrossxBeam to produce quality images. The system includes a 15-in flat LCD monitor that can move independently from the console, a simplified keyboard that allows for fewer keystrokes during an exam, a compact design that can take up less space and is easier to maneuver, and wireless connectivity for transmitting images and reports from the system. The Voluson can additionally support applications for Radiology, Neurology, Oncology, Urology, pediatrics, and musculoskeletal.
