Meningitis is the inflammation of the spinal cord area and the brain. It can either be a parasitic, bacterial, or viral infection. This disease can be incredibly deadly and should be taken very seriously.

The symptoms are a stiff neck, seizures, sensitivity to light, sudden fever, headache with nausea, vomiting, fatigue, and confusion. Sometimes a rash may appear. If you ever feel as though any of these symptoms are an issue, please seek immediate medical attention.

How is Meningitis Spread?

Meningitis is spread by a few types of common bacteria. People can avoid meningitis by regularly washing their hands, avoiding dairy, not sharing food with others, and not sharing a toothbrush.
