Drager Evita Infinity V500 Ventilator

The Drager Evita Infinity V500 ventilator can be used for acute respiratory support for adult, pediatric, and infant use. This ventilator delivers high-performance ventilation capabilities making it the ideal choice for respiratory care. The V500 offers a wide range of treatment options enabling you to manage the needs of virtually any acutely ill patient. These treatment options include:

  • SmartCare/PS – Automated, knowledge-based weaning
  • QuickSet – Pressure and I:E Link
  • Low flow PV Loop maneuver

The Evita Infinity V500 helps successfully manage patient-interface leakage, which is one of the most common issues in non-invasive ventilation. The system recognizes and compensates for leakage quickly by adjusting both inspiratory trigger and termination points. This helps maintain optional synchrony.

Designed with clinicians in mind, the Infinity V500 was created to streamline workflow with simple easy-to-use features. These features include:

  • Accessible on-screen instructions – This allows the clinician to access instructions for use through the user interface screen.
  • Smart Pulmonary View – This view transforms raw patient data into useful visual information at the bedside. It reduces the cognitive workload of the ICU staff and rapidly alerts clinicians to changes in the patients’ pulmonary status.
  • SmartCare/PS – This feature incorporates an automated weaning protocol. This protocol is flexible and configurable based on the patients’ parameters.

The screen of the Drager Evita Infinity V500 is equipped with an omnidirectional alarm bar that can be easily seen from all angles of the patient’s room. It increased the safety in the ICU by allowing for easy visualization of the patient’s conditions. The V500 comes standard with many output ports for a high-degree of flexibility when connecting to other interfaced devices. These output ports include:

  • USB
  • RS232
  • DVI
  • Ethernet
