Fabius GS Features

The Fabius GS has many technological features that benefit anesthesiologists in an operating room setting. This system may be used with O2, N2O, and AIR through a medical gas pipeline. The 5 ventilation modes include pressure control, pressure support, manual ventilation, volume-controlled ventilation, and spontaneous breathing, The ventilator will monitor airway pressure, volume, and inspiratory oxygen concentration (FiO2). The technological features include a full-color screen, a compact convenient breathing system, ClinicalVisionTM, electronic vertical flow controls, central braking, and continuous monitoring during transportation.

Drager GS Specifications

This machine weighs about 224 pounds and conveniently is on four casters that lock into place when not being transported. The battery supports the ventilator and monitor for about 45 minutes. The Event is electronically controlled and driven. There are safety functions that guarantee a minimum of O2 concentrations and an O2/N2O mixture. Audible and visual flashing lights are safety indicators in case of electricity and battery failure, manual ventilation, and gas delivery interference.
