Features

Pulse oximetry measures the saturation of oxygen in the body. NIBP is non-invasive blood pressure, with a blood pressure cuff attached to the monitor. Temperature monitors the body temperature of the patient. It will let the caretaker know if a person is hypothermic, hyperthermic, normal, or having a fever. Other features include recording. Options include Nellcor or Massimo SpO2.

The 2-in-1 monitor can be used for spot check and continuous monitoring. The NIBP can be determined in as little as 14 seconds. The Exergen TemporalScanner thermometer provides fast and accurate temperatures. The battery has a long run time; usually can run for 8 to 11 hours before needing to be charged. The SuperSTAT blood pressure algorithms support speed, comfort, and artifact rejection for all types of patients.

Specifications

The monitor needs to have a protection against electrical shock for when it is internally powered. It needs to be specified as Class II for it is in use from an external power supply. There are 3 fuses within the monitor. This monitor needs to operate between 40 and 100 degrees.

The printer type is a thermal dot array. The charge time of the battery is 5 hours from full discharge. The entire weight of the monitor is a bit over 5 pounds, so it can be used with ease of transport.
