The Exergen TemporalScanner thermometer provides fast and accurate temperatures. The battery has a long run time; usually can run for 8 to 11 hours before needing to be charged. The SuperSTAT blood pressure algorithms support speed, comfort, and artifact rejection for all types of patients.

The monitor needs to have a protection against electrical shock for when it is internally powered. It needs to be specified as Class II for it is in use from an external power supply. There are 3 fuses within the monitor. This monitor needs to operate between 40 and 100 degrees.

The printer type is a thermal dot array. The charge time of the battery is 5 hours from full discharge. The entire weight of the monitor is a bit over 5 pounds, so it can be used with ease of transport.
