Defibrillators are becoming as ubiquitous as first aid kits and often go together.  Some places such as schools, community centers, police and emergency responder vehicles are now carrying defibrillators. Sometimes people can’t recognize the warning signs, or symptoms of a heart attack until they are in much peril. These people will need to rely on easy defibrillation and CPR from the kindness of others. Soma Technology has a wide range of defibrillators, and one of our favorites is the Lifepak 20e.

Lifepak 20e Defibrillator Features

The Lifepak20e is a reliable, easy-to-use defibrillator. The handle in conjunction with lightweight stature, allows this machine to be transported to wherever a patient may be. The waveforms and screen are easy to read so defibrillation can be quickly and effectively applied. This defibrillator can be used as an AED. This machine is easy to maintain and service.

Lifepak 20e Specifications

This defibrillator comes with a dot color active LCD screen. Waveforms are displayed for 3.7 seconds and instructions and prompts will guide the user. An internal battery is used as a backup for around 2-3 hours. Total battery charge time is 4 hours. The printer will print continuous strips of patient information. There are alarms for all parameters.

The ECG can be monitored through 3 or 5 wire ECG cables. Paddles are available as an option with purchase. There are many voice prompts for selected warnings. The SpO2 uses Masimo SET. An additional configuration is available for compatibility with select Nellcor sensors. Pulse Rate and range is very accurate. This device is capable of transferring data, and storing patient data and ECG waveform records. The user can select and print reports of the stored information.
