FEATURES OF HOSPIRA PLUM 360
The Hospira Plum 360 infusion pump was designed with safety and efficiency in mind. The Plum 360 features a unique closed air management system that enables automatic feedback to easily remove air from the line without disconnecting it from the patient. This high-volume IV pump allows for a secondary line that connects directly to the cassette. The Plum pump will alert you if the secondary line is not infusing. It has many features designed to help improve patient safety and increase clinical efficiency.
The Plum 360 pump can operate as a standalone infuser or in conjunction with ICU Medical’s MedNet software to provide point-of-care medication safety software with customized medication libraries to support hospital-defined protocols for clinical care areas. The Plum pump can communicate with network systems via Ethernet or wirelessly using a dual-band 802.11 a/b/g/n radio. The Plum 360 infuser is fully compatible with Plum Series administration sets and accessories, as well as CLAVE needle-free connection systems, providing a convenient and cost-effective infusion system.
The Plum 360 Infusion System is primarily used for parenteral, enteral, and epidural therapies, and for the administration of whole blood and blood products. It is used in clinical settings under the direction of licensed physicians or certified healthcare professionals.
