Philips V60 Plus Ventilator Features
The Philips Respironics V60 Plus is a Ventilator that runs on a microprocessor with bi-level, positive air ventilation that can be either non-invasive or invasive for spontaneous breathing. The V60 Plus can offer two different ventilation therapy options in one machine, Non-Invasive (NIV) and High Flow Therapy (HFT). Additionally, the V60 Plus offers AVAP to monitor the tidal volume in a pressure limited mode, PCV when a Patient has reduced lung capacity and can’t breathe fully on their own, and CPAP which can provide continuous pressure throughout the respiratory cycle.
The Philips V60 Plus can offer ventilation to both pediatrics and adult patients. The ventilator comes with the Philips auto-tracking technology allowing for adjustments to be made to the therapy needed for the patient without having to switch machines. The system comes with a touch screen display making it easy to use and view the different parameters on a large color screen. With 6-hour battery life, the V60 plus can be used as an intra-hospital transport ventilator.
- High-resolution graphics facilitating waveform interpretation.
- The internal 6-hour battery enables intra-hospital transport (actual battery time will vary depending on user settings and battery charge level). Standby mode supports patient-clinician interaction without nuisance alarms.
- Data communication capabilities support hospital connectivity.
- Respi-Link, a remote communication tool, allows efficient system diagnostics and upgrades via the internet.
- AVAPS maintains a target tidal volume in a pressure limited mode. It provides extra assurance similar to a volume-limited mode with the safety of a pressure limited mode.
- CPAP with C-Flex offers three levels of flow-based expiratory pressure relief. This option leads to improved sleep quality and patient comfort, adding greater flexibility and improved treatment acceptance.
- PCV can be used when greater control of the patient’s breathing pattern is required. Additionally, the option of ventilating a patient invasively gives the caregiver greater flexibility in the approach to treatment.
- Treatment for a wide range of clinical severities and patients from pediatric to adult.
- Flexibility for intra-hospital transport with an internal 6-hour smart battery.
