The LivaNova Sorin Xtra is an Autotransfusion System (ATS). The Sorin Xtra is an intuitive blood transfusion system. The LivaNova ATS offers a Blood Management Strategy that can collect, process, and reinfuse the patient’s blood, reducing the need for homologous blood and optimizing the use of blood products during procedures. The LivaNova ATS system was designed by the same people who brought you the Sorin S5 Heart-Lung machine. Combining some of the best features of the Sorin brand to bring you an intuitive transfusion system. These features include an 8.4-inch color touchscreen display and an advanced data management system for patient data.
