The Medtronic ACT II Is an Automated Coagulation timer. The Act II is a portable device making it easy to run coagulation tests in an OR while performing cardiovascular or vascular surgery, as well as catheterization in laboratories and in Critical Care Units. The with Medtronic ACT II you can run a variety of test including Activated Clotting Time (ACT), High Range Heparinase (HRHTC), Prothrombin Time (PT), a General Purpose Cartridge (GPC) and the Activated Partial Thromboplastin (aPTT).
