GE Datex Ohmeda EEG Module Features

The GE Datex-Ohmeda EEG Module is a sophisticated plug-in parameter module designed for integration with Datex-Ohmeda S/5 modular patient monitoring systems to enable comprehensive neurophysiological monitoring. This module, when used with the N-EEG headbox, allows clinicians to monitor electroencephalograph (EEG), frontal electromyograph (FEMG), and auditory evoked potentials (AEP) in hospitalized patients. The system is indicated for use by qualified medical personnel in anesthesia, critical care, and other hospital environments where assessment of brain electrical activity provides valuable clinical information.

  • Multi-Parameter Neurophysiological Monitoring: Measures up to four EEG waveform channels, one FEMG channel, and two AEP channels during monitoring.
  • EEG Analysis: Performs spectral analysis on each EEG channel and calculates total power, spectral edge frequency (SEF), median frequency, and burst suppression ratio (BSR).
  • Auditory Evoked Potential (AEP): Includes integrated auditory stimulation with adjustable click frequency (1.1–9.1 Hz) and intensity (10–90 dB nHL). Supports signal averaging of 100–2000 responses for AEP extraction from background EEG activity.
  • Impedance Checking: Monitors electrode impedance either at set intervals or manually. Includes leads-off detection.
  • Montage Configuration: Supports up to eight lead sets, including three preset and five user-defined montages. Lead sets are identified automatically through connector pins.
  • Signal Acquisition: Provides 10,000× signal amplification, 60 nV resolution, and 800 µVpp maximum EEG amplitude range.
  • S/5 Monitor Compatibility: Single-width plug-in module compatible with S/5 Anesthesia Monitors (AM), Compact Anesthesia Monitors (CAM), Critical Care Monitors (CCM), and Compact Critical Care Monitors (CCCM).

Refurbished GE Datex-Ohmeda EEG Module Patient Monitor

Soma Tech Intl offers the GE Datex-Ohmeda EEG Module up to 50% below OEM prices with the same service and warranty as new. The refurbished GE Datex-Ohmeda EEG Module is not only technically refurbished but also cosmetically refurbished to make it work and look like new. When the refurbishing process starts on the EEG Module, it is carefully inspected and tested by our own in-house biomedical engineers who are highly skilled and certified to work on patient monitor modules. If necessary, parts are replaced to ensure that all aspects of the EEG Module meet the original manufacturer’s specifications. This ensures that the unit operates just as it did when it left the manufacturer. Once the GE Datex-Ohmeda module is functioning like new, it undergoes a specialized cosmetic restoration. The module is cleaned, minor scratches and dents are repaired, it’s repainted, and new decals are added if necessary. After this thorough refurbishment, the unit both functions and appears like new. Soma Tech Intl is ISO 13485 certified, ensuring top-quality standards in every piece of medical equipment sold. Before the GE Datex-Ohmeda EEG Module is labeled patient-ready and prepared for shipment, it goes through a final quality control check to confirm all aspects are working as they should.
