The Ecolab Hush Slush 2.0 System is a specialized surgical solution management system. It cools irrigation fluids and creates surgical slush for localized tissue cooling during delicate procedures. This integrated system includes a Hush‑Slush Machine, a Solution Warmer (ORS‑2038EU), and the Auto‑Stir™ (ORS‑K24EU) technology. Together, they provide temperature‑controlled surgical solutions on demand. The system handles fluid volumes from 1,000 mL to 4,000 mL. Surgical teams can prepare cold irrigation or slush without manual intervention, which lowers the risk of thermal injury to sensitive tissues. Because the system automates stirring and temperature management, it improves operating room efficiency and helps maintain consistent solution temperatures throughout lengthy procedures.
- Auto‑Stir™ Technology: The Auto‑Stir comes pre‑installed. It moves the cooling solution around on its own. Nobody has to stand there stirring it by hand. The temperature stays even throughout, and the slush comes out with the same consistency every time.
- Dual‑Function Capability: You get two functions in one box. The system chills irrigation solutions down to -1°C to 0°C for slush. Then it also warms solutions up to 49°C when you need them warm. One system handles both jobs.
- Integrated Solution Warmer: The ORS‑2038EU warmer keeps basin temperatures between 20°C and 43°C, plus or minus one degree. That means you can hold irrigation fluids at body temperature and deliver them to the surgical site without them cooling off first.
- Disc Drape Compatibility: This system works only with sterile, single‑use Slush and Warmer Disc Drapes. The part numbers are ORS‑130, ORS‑320, ORS‑321, and ORS‑325. These drapes give you a sterile barrier but still let heat move through efficiently, so temperature changes happen fast.
- High Fluid Volume Capacity: The main unit holds anywhere from 1,000 mL up to 4,000 mL of irrigation solution. On long cases, you are not stopping every twenty minutes to refill.
- Robust Temperature Control: Cooling gets down to -1°C to 0°C for slush. Warming goes from room temperature up to 49°C. The warmer basin holds its temperature within one degree either way. You get the same reliable performance case after case.
