The SchureMed Great White Power-Aid Adjustable Stirrups are manually adjustable lithotomy stirrups used during surgery to help position a patient’s legs. They can be adjusted during a procedure, which allows the surgical team to change leg position without having to reposition the patient or reach under the drapes. The stirrups use a dual control handle that lets the user adjust both the lithotomy angle and abduction separately.
The design also focuses on patient safety. The extended lateral boot helps support the leg and may help reduce pressure on the peroneal nerve. The boot is designed to move naturally with the patient’s leg when adjustments are made, which helps reduce strain on the lower extremities. These stirrups are commonly used for procedures in urology, gynecology, and colorectal surgery where stable and adjustable leg positioning is important.
