GE Vivid q Features

The GE Vivid Q is a Portable Laptop-style Ultrasound that can be used to help diagnose cardiovascular anatomy. Features and tools based on the previous Vivid 7 and the Vivid E9 have been added to the new lightweight Vivid Q, mainly the M4S-RS transducer that allows for 3D image focusing and enables a higher level of image quality. The Vivid Q ultrasound is versatile and can additionally be used for Cardiac, vascular, Abdominal, Pediatric, Obstetrics, and Emergency medicine. The Vivid Q Ultrasound comes with a 15-inch color LCD monitor that can display a variety of imaging modes including; ICE, Auto EF, AFI, TVI, TT, TSI, and Blood Flow. Additionally, the Ultrasound system is comparable with 17 different transducers and probes to fit every imaging need.

  • Auto EF – Automated ejection fraction measurement program designed specifically for the GE Vivid q.
  • Tissue Synchronization Imaging (TSI).
  • Intracardiac Echo (ICE).
  • 16 different compatible probes.
  • Coded Octave imaging – enhances image color flow and Doppler imaging.

Performance Features and Clinical Tools

  • The M4S-RS matrix array transducer produces excellent 2D images for adult cardiac applications.
  • Coded Octave imaging takes GE’s image quality to the next level, enhancing your images for color flow and Doppler imaging.
  • Smart Depth automatically adapts imaging parameters to help operators save time and increase standardization among users.
  • Smart Stress can improve workflow, shorten optimization time, and support reproducibility for review, wall-segment scoring, and reporting.

Parametric Imaging and Quantification Support Clinical Decisions

  • Auto EF provides one of the most commonly used parameters to describe the LV function, the Ejection Fraction (EF). The 2D strain-based tool assists in finding the endocardial border. It can also reduce the dependency on “seeing” the border in each image by analyzing and tracking the myocardial tissue. The program automatically locates the end systolic and end diastolic frames.
  • Automated Function Imaging (AFI) supports LV function analysis at rest, visualizing the longitudinal wall shortening and lengthening and highlighting a segment’s contraction. AFI highlights potential wall motion abnormalities. It may decrease LV function assessment variability, provide clinical decision support, and streamline workflow.
  • Tissue Velocity Imaging (TVI) and Tissue Tracking (TT) show tissue velocity and displacement in the direction of the ultrasound beam with high temporal resolution and also visualize short events.
  • Tissue Synchronization Imaging (TSI) facilitates the translation of comprehensive quantification into an easy-to-understand image demonstrating the mechanical synchronicity of different myocardial segments.
  • On-board Quantitative Analysis allows in-depth analysis of the ultrasound data, including deriving traces and Curved Anatomical M-Modes.

Intracardiac Echo (ICE) Imaging

Combining exceptional detail and quality of information with advanced interventional echocardiography ultrasound ICE imaging technology, Vivid q opens another window to the heart.

  • ICE catheters deliver excellent image quality and real-time visualization of cardiac structural anatomy, and therapy catheters aid in monitoring and guidance during interventional procedures.
  • ICE can give you a better understanding of structural orientation during trans-septal puncture procedures to help you avoid clinical complications.

  • Address perioperative needs with transthoracic examinations under challenging conditions.
  • Enable monitoring with the help of adult or pediatric TEE.
  • Support saphenous vein harvesting and carotid evaluations.
  • Use the intra-operative probe to obtain information to support specific diagnoses in the OR during and directly after open-heart surgery.
  • Share images remotely on a PC with the eVue option for efficient, convenient consultations.

Pediatric Echocardiography

  • Examine children of all ages, including newborns.
  • Choose from a wide range of sector, micro convex, linear, and transesophageal transducers plus a specific ECG cable.

Obstetrics / Gynecology

  • Focus on fetal echo or comprehensive examinations.

Shared Services

  • Conduct vascular and abdominal exams with Vivid’s comprehensive set of linear and convex transducers.
  • Display blood flow with 2D-like spatial resolution and no color-flow-imaging artifacts with B-Flow and Blood Flow Imaging (BFI).
  • Measuring the carotid artery’s intima-media thickness quickly with the IMT analysis package may obtain early information on atherosclerosis risk.
  • Use Wide Aperture to support improvement in the signal-to-noise ratio and spatial resolution for better penetration in deeper structures.

Refurbished of The GE Vivid Q Ultrasound

Soma Tech Intl offers the GE Vivid Q Ultrasound up to 50% below OEM prices with the same service and warranty as new. The GE Ultrasound is not only technically refurbished but also cosmetically refurbished to make it work and look new. When the refurbishing process starts on the ultrasound, it is carefully inspected and tested by our own in-house biomedical engineers who are highly skilled and certified to work on ultrasounds. If necessary, parts are replaced to make sure that all aspects of the Vivid Q are to the original engineering manufacturer’s specifications. This ensures that the unit works the same way it originally left the manufacturer. After the GE Vivid is working like new it undergoes a special cosmetic restoration process. The ultrasound is cleaned, minor scratches and dents are repaired, it’s painted, and new decals are replaced if necessary. After this strenuous refurbishing process, the unit functions and looks new. Soma Tech Intl is ISO 13485 certified and ensures that the best quality is given to all capital medical equipment they sell. Before the GE Vivid Ultrasound is labeled patient-ready and packed up for shipment, it goes through one last quality control test that makes sure all aspects are again working as they should. If you are looking to buy a refurbished stretcher contact soma at [email protected] or call us at 1-800-GET-SOMA.
