The Mallinckrodt Warmtouch 5200 is used for prevention and/or treatment of hypothermia. Air is delivered into the WT 5200 blankets through a wire-reinforced hose attached to the warming system. This in turn enables the warming system to cover the patient with warm air and actively transfer heat across the skin. Intended use with a variety of Warming Blankets to provide clinical warmth to the patient before, during and after surgery.
