The Puritan Bennett 7200 AE ventilator enables respiratory care practitioner to provide a patient with ventilatory assistance. It can mix air and oxygen and, when The Puritan Bennett 7200 is equipped with a humidifier, warm and humid mixed gas. The PB 7200 ventilator provides respiratory support for adult and pediatric patients for a wide range of clinical conditions.
- Compressor can supply the primary air source or act as back-up.
- Microprocessor controlled.
- Controls and monitors delivered flow and converts it to a volume measurement at body temperature and pressure at 100% saturation (BTPS).
- Continually displays breath type, instantaneous airway pressure or exhaled volume, as well as digital readouts of patient and ventilator performance.
- Internal batteries provide up to 1 hour when the main to the ventilator has been interrupted.
- Inspiratory and expiratory limbs of the patient service circuit are isolated from the rest of the ventilator by the main flow and exhalation bacteria filters.
