The T-Bird AVS / VSO2 / VS is a turbine-based ventilator. Unlike other ventilators, the system is self-contained. It can provide gas delivery without the need for an air compression source. With the turbine system and external battery option, the Vaisys T-Bird can become a mobile ventilator. The Tbird AVS-VSO2 offers high flow capabilities and can meet the demands of high inspiratory. Ventilation modes include; control, assisted control, SIMV (synchronized Intermittent Mandatory Ventilation), and CPAP (Continuous Positive Airway pressure). The Vaisys legacy ventilators can be used on patients that weight is equal to 22 lbs (10kg) to adults.
