Nonin LifeSense LS1-9R Features
The Nonin LifeSense LS1-9R is a capnography and pulse oximetry monitor used for continuous, non-invasive monitoring of respiratory and oxygenation parameters. It displays end-tidal CO₂ (ETCO₂), respiratory rate, functional oxygen saturation (SpO₂), and pulse rate on a single touch-screen display. The unit is designed for straightforward operation with visual and audible alarms to alert staff to changes in patient status. Its compact housing allows it to be used in fixed care areas, transport situations, emergency response, and home care settings.
- Dual-Parameter Monitoring: Measures sidestream ETCO₂ and SpO₂ at the same time to track ventilation and oxygenation in one device.
- Touch-Screen Display: Full-color LCD screen allows adjustment of alarm limits, review of measurements, and viewing of up to four hours of trend data.
- Battery Operation: Internal rechargeable lithium-ion battery provides approximately eight hours of continuous use per charge.
- Alarm Functions: Adjustable high and low limits for all parameters with visual indicators, audible alerts, and a dedicated apnea/no-breath alarm.
- Patient Compatibility: Can be used with adult, pediatric, and infant patients using Nonin PureLight® SpO₂ sensors and disposable sampling lines such as nasal cannula or oxygen delivery adapters.
