Neoprobe GDS Features

The Neoprobe GDS (Gamma Detection System) console, with Bluetooth wireless technology, detects the presence of gamma rays emitted from radioactive isotopes in body organs or tissue. The Neoprobe system provides an increasing or decreasing sound as well as a visual indicator as it detects the amount of gamma radioactivity. The Neoprobe Gamma Detection System detects gamma radiation with a hand-held probe based on the inverse square law of physics which allows the neoprobe to detect radiation emitted from a small source. The Neoprobe supports a Bluetooth probe that delivers outstanding directionality and sensitivity, ensuring highly accurate localization of targeted tissue during gamma detection procedures.

  • Quick and easy startup with no calibration or preventative maintenance required.
  • Bluetooth wireless technology.
  • Outstanding directionality and sensitivity, ensuring highly accurate localization of targeted tissue during gamma detection procedures.
  • Detects any of six isotopes.
  • Can detect and filter I-125 and Tc-99 simultaneously.

Refurbished Neoprobe GDS Gamma Detection Systems

Soma Tech Intl offers the Neoprobe GDS up to 50% below OEM prices with the same service and warranty as new. Soma Tech Intl technically and cosmetically refurbishes these gamma detection systems back to the original engineering manufacturer specifications. Using highly skilled, trained, and certified in-house biomedical engineers these units are fully tested, disassembled, and if necessary, parts are replaced. Once all the parts of the Neoprobe gamma detector are in working order, the Neoprobe GDS is calibrated back to OEM specifications, to make sure it works exactly the way it did when it originally left the manufacturer. Soma Tech Intl not only refurbished the product, but each unit also goes through a Special cosmetic restoration process. The GDS system is cleaned and minor scratches and dentures are repaired, and decals are replaced if necessary.

Soma Tech Intl also, purchases used and pre-owned Neoprobe GDSs. If you or your facility wants to sell your Neoprobe GDS gamma detection system, Soma Techn Intl has an experienced purchasing department that makes the process headache and hassle-free. When selling your gamma detection system to Soma, there is no need for a middle man, it is a direct transaction to Soma which ensures that you get top dollar for your medical equipment.
