SchureMed Great White Robotic Stirrups

The Great White Robotic Stirrups are powered stirrups used for lithotomy positioning, mainly in robotic pelvic surgery and other minimally invasive procedures. Unlike the manual version, these use motors to adjust the leg position, so staff don’t have to make manual adjustments during the procedure. Positioning can be controlled with a wireless remote, and positions can also be saved if the same setup is used often.

These stirrups are typically used with robotic systems like the da Vinci, since the frame and boot design leave enough room for the robotic arms. That part is important, because standard stirrups sometimes get in the way depending on how the robot is docked. The leg is supported along the calf and ankle with the extended boot, which helps spread pressure more evenly. During repositioning, the movement is synchronized so both legs move together, which reduces strain on the hips and knees.

  • Motorized positioning: Height, abduction, and lithotomy angle are adjusted using powered controls. Positions can be saved and reused later.
  • Clearance for robotic arms: Designed so the robotic arms have enough space during procedures like prostatectomy, hysterectomy, and colorectal surgery.
  • Wireless remote: Handheld remote allows staff to adjust positioning without reaching under the drapes.
  • Extended boot: Supports the calf and ankle and helps reduce pressure on the peroneal nerve.
  • Weight capacity: Rated up to 600 lbs.
  • Position memory: Saved positions can be recalled to reduce setup time.
  • Synchronized movement: Both legs move together to reduce joint strain during repositioning.

Refurbished SchureMed Great White Robotic Stirrups

Soma Tech Intl offers the SchureMed Great White Robotic Stirrups up to 50% below OEM prices with the same service and warranty as new. The refurbished SchureMed Great White Robotic Stirrups are not only technically refurbished but also cosmetically refurbished to make them work and look like new. When the refurbishing process starts on the Great White Robotic stirrups, they are carefully inspected and tested by our own in-house biomedical engineers who are highly skilled and certified to work on powered surgical positioning equipment. If necessary, parts are replaced to ensure that all aspects of the Great White Robotic meet the original manufacturer’s specifications. This ensures that the units operate just as they did when they left the manufacturer. Once the SchureMed stirrups are functioning like new, they undergo a specialized cosmetic restoration. The stirrups are cleaned, minor scratches and dents are repaired, they’re repainted, and new decals are added if necessary. After this thorough refurbishment, the units both function and appear like new. Soma Tech Intl is ISO 13485 certified, ensuring top-quality standards in every piece of medical equipment sold. Before the SchureMed Great White Robotic Stirrups are labeled patient-ready and prepared for shipment, they go through a final quality control check to confirm all aspects are working as they should.
