A Very Soma Friendsgiving

Every year, Soma Technology celebrates thanksgiving amongst our employees with a pot luck lunch. Everyone brings in a side dish and takes time from their busy day to eat lunch together. Soma reflects on the previous year of company goals, and memories made. We take the time to remember the value in working at Soma.

Soma has noted in previous blog posts that our employees come from a variety of backgrounds. The best representation of this, is in the food that was brought. Such dishes included Syrian beef and nut patties, Peruvian potato and chicken salad, flan, Puerto Rican pasteles and rice and beans, Indian kheer (rice pudding) and dumplings in a yoghurt sauce. There were also classic dishes served such as turkey, macaroni and cheese, green bean casserole, corn soufflé, mashed potatoes and gravy. In observance of thanksgiving, Soma Technology will be closed Thursday and Friday. We will resume regular business hours, 8:30 – 5:00 on Monday. Enjoy your thanksgiving. May you have plenty of time with your family, and even more food to eat. Happy Thanksgiving!
