When is World Environment Day?

World Environmental Day is celebrated on June 5th. Each year World Environmental Day has a new theme. This year, the theme for World Environmental Day is Biodiversity Time for Nature. Every year their main celebration is in a different city around the world. The first celebration of World Environment Day was held in Spokane, Washington United States in 1974.

What is World Environment Day?

World Environment Day offers an international platform for environmental action. This day engages people, celebrities, and many businesses to help focus their efforts on environmental issues.
