The GE Giraffe OmniBed is an advanced neonatal microenvironment that offers the best of both worlds by combining the thermal advantages of a double-walled incubator with the access benefits of an open bed radiant warmer. With just a touch of a button, the OmniBed can be converted from an incubator to an open bed warmer within seconds. It provides precise thermal support, thanks to its microprocessor-controlled system, whether it’s used as an open or closed bed.

The OmniBed reduces stress on the infant, medical staff, and family members by eliminating the need to transfer the baby between incubators and warmers. The large canopy, built-in X-ray tray, and radiolucent mattress provide easy access for digital X-ray imaging, and the mattress’s full 360-degree rotation and built-in bed scale minimize the need for transfers in and out of the bed.
