A digital CAM-HD shows clearer ECG tracings than other models and the large screen display allows the user to easily read ECG forms in a final-report style format.

The MAC 5500 HD also has the option of a  barcode and magnetic card reader to reduce patient data errors. This device is HIPAA compliant and securely stores patient data. A trolley cart is optional, and makes the lightweight device even more portable, and offers easy mobility.

The display is 10.4 inches with a resolution of 640 x480 pixels. Display data includes; heart rate, patient name, ID, clock, waveforms, lead labels, speed, gain and filter settings, warning messages, prompts, and help messages. Thermal dot array writer technology is available. The battery last about 4.5 hours from a total discharge. Printer is included.
