Philips IntelliVue MP5 Features

The Philips IntelliVue MP5 patient bedside monitor delivers the IntelliVue monitoring power and functionality in a compact and rugged housing to match the demands of a wide range of care environments. It is important that the presentation of the patient’s measurements gives a complete overview at a glance. IntelliVue monitors are renowned for their quality of measure. The MP5 includes other vital signs in the trend table at each scheduled NBP measurement. This gives you a comprehensive set of vital signs data. The Philips MP5 monitor is built with clinical decision support tools like; Horizon Trends, ST Map, and ProtocolWatch.

Though small, this patient bedside monitor can perform a 12-lead ECG capture quickly and easily. If your facility has the IntelliVue Information Center iX, you can transmit and store the ECG’s in the ECG management system. This system would also allow you to retrieve ECG’s at the bedside too.

To help focus more on patients rather than fiddling with the monitor, Philips designed the MP5 with:

  • An organized display of patient data.
  • An intuitive, touchscreen interface, that includes one-step, smart touch commands.

The MP5 has wired and wireless networking capabilities. This means you can connect to the IntelliVue Clinical network ensuring your data will be sent with speed and security. The MP5 has a feature called ST Map. ST Map collects ST values and trends derived from the vertical and horizontal planes calculating ST changes and their location in the heart more easily. Designed with IntelliVue Guardian Early Warning Score on a spot-check monitor, it helps aid clinicians in early recognition of subtle signs of patient deterioration. The Early Warning Score facilitates fast intervention to enhance patient care.

The IntelliVue MP5 has the ability to connect to the IntelliVue MX40 via Short Range Radio for additional vital signs parameters or continuous monitoring. It has high-resolution display options that enhance multiple viewing platforms. Clinicians have the ability to connect the monitor to a large display solution with option IntelliVue XDS software.
