The lightweight nature makes this ventilator portable, and a cart is optional. This ventilator is recommended to be used only with various combinations of Philips Respironics-approved patient circuit accessories, such as, patient interface devices, humidifiers, water traps, and circuit tubing.

The patient parameters that are measured include, respiratory rate, minute ventilation, breath rate, leak rate, inspiratory time and rise time. Other metrics include  peak inspiratory flow, ramp start pressure, mean airway pressure, flow trigger sensitivity, flow cycle, and apnea rate.
