The Steris Amsco has technologically superior features. These features include coverage spray pattern nozzles for full coverage of disinfectant. A drop-down loading door allows the user to load and unload trays. This eliminates the use of a transfer cart. The LCD touchscreen panel provides clear visibility and allows access to sensitive information.

Other features include a stainless steel pump, drains between rinses, a removable stainless steel filter, 3 chemical injection pumps, and a high-capacity air blower using a HEPA filter.

Amsco 2532 Specifications

The Amsco 2532 is designed to support smaller CSSDs for ambulatory surgery centers, but can also be used in hospitals. The total weight is 540 pounds, so this is not an easily transportable piece of equipment, it will be very solitary. The touchscreen is about 5.7 inches. The cycle time is 30 minutes and can display 6 racks. There are about 16 cycles for an 8-hour day. A total of 96 trays can be used on a maximum day, depending on how many surgeries are performed. 21.2 gallons of water are used.
