Siemens Maquet Servo-i Features

There are three main configurations for the servo-i including infant, adult, and universal. These configurations are standardly equipped with different ventilation modes for each type of patient. Both invasive and non-invasive ventilation are standard. Invasive ventilation is when the gas is forced to expand the lungs. Non-invasive ventilation is when the patient can breathe on their own but requires a great deal of help. Transportation of this ventilator will result without loss. A CO2 analyzer is used for end-tidal carbon dioxide measurement for ventilation efficacy. Heliox will give a more laminar flow of gas that reduces the effort of breathing.

Maquet Servo-i Specifications

This ventilator stands at a weight of close to 52 inches tall, with a width of 22 inches and a depth of 25 inches. The weight is a little over 44 pounds and is easily transported between patient rooms on four casters. The inspiratory channel has a gas delivery system with a microprocessor-controlled valve. The expiratory flow range is 0 to 3.2 l/s. This ventilator runs on battery, but can also be plugged in.
