Bladder scanners are useful to urologists in that they measure the volume of liquid in the bladder. This is helpful in determining if there are any conditions associated with the bladder. This is one of our most requested products. The BVI 3000 is a reliable bladder scanner.
BladderScan 3000 Features
This BVI 3000 ultrasound has many technological features. These features include a liquid crystal display screen that shows bladder position, volume, and assists in placement of the probe. The display shows the bladder as a 2 cross sectional image. There is a printer for convenient results. This is a noninvasive measure of how full the bladder is. This can help asses urinary retention, reduce the rates of catheter related UTIs and incontinence.
BladderScan 3000 Specifications
This bladder scanner is one of our smaller products. It weighs a little more than five pounds and is easily portable between patient rooms. It can fit on a nearby table when not being used. It takes less than 5 seconds for the bladder to be scanned.
