Medtronic AEX Generator Features
The Medtronic AEX Generator is an electrosurgical unit designed to power compatible monopolar and bipolar instruments from a single system. It delivers radiofrequency energy for cutting and coagulation, as well as RF energy with saline for hemostatic sealing of soft tissue and bone. A built-in peristaltic pump controls saline delivery during procedures using compatible handpieces. The color touchscreen allows users to adjust power levels and select saline flow settings, while a one-touch Prime function prepares connected handpieces for use. The generator is compatible with Medtronic Aquamantys and PlasmaBlade handpieces.

This unit goes through both technical and cosmetic refurbishment so it performs and looks like new. During the refurbishment of the AEX, our in-house biomedical engineers, who are trained and certified to work on generators, carefully inspect and test the system and replace components as needed so every aspect of the unit meets the original manufacturer’s engineering specifications. Once it’s fully operational, the AEX moves into a detailed cosmetic restoration process: thorough cleaning, correction of minor scratches and dents, surface refinishing where needed, and decal replacement if required. After all of that, it functions and presents like new.
