Philips IntelliVue MP70 Patient Monitor - Soma Tech Intl

The Philips IntelliVue MP70 is a 15-inch patient monitor used in surgical cardiac, medical, or even neonatal care environments. The Philips MP70 can use peripheral devices such as a computer mouse, keyboard, or a trackball, but typically is controlled with its touchscreen or optional SpeedPoint controller. This Philips patient monitor can display up to 8 different waveforms along with a 12-lead ECG screen. It’s a highly versatile multiparameter monitor that can be customized to fit your facility’s needs.

Intellivue monitors, such as the MP line from Philips, all have similar and very recognizable user interfaces. This interface makes them easy to use and navigate, especially if you’ve used similar models like the MP50 or the MP5. But unlike the MP50 or MP5, the MP70 can hold more modules by utilizing the Flexible Module Server (M8048A). While utilizing the FMS, plug-in measurement modules can connect for plug-and-play convenience.

What modules can you attach to the FMS?

  • Invasive blood pressure
  • Temperature
  • Oxygen saturation of arterial blood (SpO2)
  • Cardiac output
  • Transcutaneous gas
  • Mixed venous oxygen saturation (SvO2)
  • Recorder
  • VueLink device interface
  • EEG
  • Bispectral index (BIS)
  • Spirometry

Everything you need to operate the MP70 monitor is displayed on the screen. To navigate and control the monitor, one can use the SpeedPoint controller, if the monitor is equipped with one, otherwise, you can use external peripheral devices like a mouse and keyboard or the built-in touchscreen. This Philips monitor features customizable viewing options with 10 preset screen configurations out of the box. It weighs about 22 pounds and can be mounted in many different ways.

Refurbished Philips MP70 Patient Monitors

Soma Tech Intl offers demo and refurbished Philips MP70 patient monitors up to 50% below OEM prices. These patient monitors come with the same service and warranty as buying directly from the manufacturer. Soma Tech not only technically refurbishes these units but also cosmetically refurbishes them. This makes them look like they originally did. When a unit comes to Soma it is inspected, and tested, and if necessary, parts are replaced to bring them back to OEM specifications. After that, like all of our products, crucial calibrations are made before the unit undergoes special cosmetic restoration. During the cosmetic restoration, the unit is visually restored.

For example, blemishes, such as scratches, are sanded before the painting process takes place. Once the unit is back together and looking brand new, the monitor gets tested again and undergoes a QC check to make sure it is patient-ready. Once the patient is ready, the monitor gets packaged up and ready for shipment.
