The Hospira Lifecare PCA was designed to help prevent medication error, with its new feature of an integrated barcode reader. This allows the medical provider a way to verify the drugs and levels of infusion needed for each patient. The Hospira Lifecare also comes with a drug library that is integrated through the barcoding system in the Hospira MedNet software.
