Baylis RFP-100A Features
The Baylis RFP-100A is a radiofrequency puncture generator used for tissue access during procedures such as cardiac transseptal puncture. It delivers a short RF output at high voltage and low power to create a small opening in tissue. The system operates at higher impedance levels than standard RF ablation generators. Heat spread is limited due to the short energy duration.
The RFP-100A is compatible with Baylis RF transseptal devices, including the NRG Needle, SupraCross, and VersaCross systems. Connected devices are recognized automatically. Output settings can be adjusted before activation.
- High-Impedance Operation: Functions at tissue impedance levels of approximately 270–400V, allowing RF puncture without continuous energy delivery.
- Device Compatibility: Supports Baylis RF transseptal access tools such as NRG, SupraCross, and VersaCross.
- Energy Delivery Options: Includes Constant Mode for continuous RF output and Pulse Mode that delivers RF energy in 300 ms intervals.
