Philips Respironics BiPAP Vision Features
The Philips Respironics BiPAP Vision offers non-invasive Ventilation to patients. The BiPAP Vision was designed specifically with hospitals in mind, with NIV, changes in leaks, dynamic breathing patterns, High FlO2, and Flow demand all included in one system. The system can be used for sub-acute therapy and can eliminate the need for intubation. With Auto-Trak sensitivity the machine can adapt in cases of in-breath or even circuit leaks. It allows Auto -adaptive triggers to help reduce the work that is needed for the patient to breathe in certain situations and can reduce the need for manual adjustments. The Ventilation system has a larger integrated display making it easier to view the various measurements being monitored.
- Digital Auto-Trak sensitivity automatically adapts to changing leaks on a breath-by-breath basis, allowing the patient’s mask to be fit for comfort rather than a perfect seal.
- The integrated display screen displays real-time graphics in the waveform or bar scale format to assist with ventilator management.
- CPAP and S/T modes are available for maintaining airway patency and providing pressure support ventilation.
- Oxygen control allows 21–100% concentrations without attaching auxiliary oxygen to the mask
- Pressure regulation at the mask ensures accurate therapy for the patient.
- The alarm module provides a complete range of alarms that are designed with mask ventilation in mind, minimizing nuisance alarms caused by mask leaks.
Integrated Display Screen displays easy-to-read real-time graphics in the waveform or bar scale format, providing the following measured and calculated numerical values to assist with ventilator management:
- IPAP
- Total Breath Rate
- Exhaled Minute Ventilation
- % Patient Triggered Breaths
- Exhaled Tidal Volume
- EPAP
- Ti/Tot
- Peak Inspiratory Pressure
- Patient or Total Leak
- Integrated Display Screen
- Oxygen Control up to 100%
- Pressure Regulation at Mask
- BiPAP
- Auto-Trak Sensitivity
- Alarm Module
